3390 ICT labs to impart knowledge on Information and Communication Technology

In the context of National Education Policy-2020, ICT (Information and Communication Technology) labs are being established in the state with the aim of developing digital literacy among the students studying in government schools. So far 3390 ICT labs have been established in the state. Under this scheme of the Central Government, computer labs are being established in the school. The work of setting up computer labs through the School Education Department is being carried out by the districts in a decentralized manner.

An integrated monitoring system has been developed in the Vimarsh portal for regular monitoring and monthly review of activities of ICT labs. Skills related to digital literacy have become essential in today’s technological era.
