NPCI chief sets ambitious new target of 100 billion transactions per month

As the country’s digital payment ecosystem continues to expand, Dilip Asbe, managing director and CEO of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has announced an ambitious revision of the nation’s payment vision with the new target of 100 billion transactions per month, up from the previous goal of one billion per day.
