AMD is recalling all units of its next processors and pushing its launch date, here’s why

AMD has reportedly delayed the launch of its highly anticipated Ryzen 9000 processors which are based on the Zen 5 architecture due to an undisclosed quality issue. According to a report by Tom’s Hardware, the US-based chip maker has also recalled all Ryzen 9000 chips that have already been shipped to retailers and OEMs worldwide.
The launch of the Ryzen 7 9700X and Ryzen 5 9600X has been reportedly rescheduled for August 8, while the higher-end Ryzen 9 9950X and Ryzen 9 9900X may launch on August 15.
