Centre appoints UIDAI’s Neelkanth Mishra, IIIT Delhi’s Ranjan Bose as part-time members of TRAI

NEW DELHI: The Central government has appointed Neelkanth Mishra, Chairperson (Part-Time), Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), and Ranjan Bose, Director, Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) as the part-time members of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).

“In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 and sub-section (2) of section 5 of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India Act, 1997 (24 of 1997), the Central government hereby appoints the following persons as part-time members of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India…,” the Ministry of Communications said in an official order dated July 16, 2024.
