BharatNet AMC Tender

If there is one single stumbling block in the implementation of Digital India vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it is the repeated failure of the bureaucracy to complete the BharatNet project. Since its unveiling more than a decade back, every time a new experiment is triggered in the hope that things will improve. Experiment began with CPSU led model, then Bharat Broadband Network Limited (BBNL) was created, then state led model was invented, then the project was outsourced to CSC E-Governance, and the latest is the PPP led model which has failed to attract any bidder.
