DoT amends RoW Rules

Through a notification dated August 17, 2022, DoT has amended the right of way (RoW) rules to facilitate faster and easier deployment of telecom infrastructure. The amended rules provide a single window clearance for all the telecom related applications through the Gati Shakti Sanchar portal. Earlier, the telecom operators were required to submit applications on different platforms for the states/UT.
