Who will pay Rs 1,376 cr AGR dues of Videocon?

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has filed an affidavit before the Supreme Court giving details of the statutory dues paid by telecom operators so far related to past adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues. The affidavit also states that the AGR dues of Rs 1,376 crore of Videocon Telecommunications Ltd (VTL), which is under insolvency process, has not been paid by Bharti Airtel Ltd (BAL), who had purchased spectrum from them in May 2016.
