WiFi infra too can now be shared

On April 6, 2021, DoT amended terms and conditions of the Unified Access Services License to increase the scope of infrastructure sharing in the Wi-Fi services for the promotion of broadband. Now sharing of infrastructure related to Wi-Fi equipment such as Wi-Fi router, Access Point etc is allowed. Sharing of backhaul has also been permitted. The changes / additions in the terms & conditions are shown in blue color in the box.
