UK Ofcom revokes CGTN’s broadcast licence

The UK regulator Ofcom has withdrawn the licence of Chinese international-language satellite news channel China Global Television Network (CGTN) in the UK. The licence was revoked because it was wrongfully held by Star China Media Ltd (SCML) which is controlled by Chinese communist party.
