BSNL 4G Tender Core with RAN

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL)’s 4G tender, in its present form, is bound to fail. Instead of inviting two separate tenders – one for 4G RAN (Radio Access Network) and the other for Core Network – it has invited a single tender.

Under ‘AatmaNirbhar Bharat’, the government has mandated that BSNL must procure Core Network only from such Indian companies that have Indian IPR (Intellectual Property Rights)
