Jio Q2 net profit climbs to Rs 8,389 cr, revenue up 3.3%
Jio Platforms (JPL) on Friday reported an 8% sequential rise in consolidated net profit for the September quarter, marking its first earnings disclosure since its listing on the stock exchanges earlier this week.
The company’s net profit rose to Rs 8,389 crore in the September quarter, compared with Rs 7,764 crore in the April-June quarter. It had posted a net profit of Rs 7,379 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said.
