Karix Mobile denies any association with SBI data breach

NEW DELHI: SMS, WhatsApp and rich communication services provider Karix Mobile denied any alleged association with the recent data breach at the public-owned State Bank of India (SBI), where a fragment of data was exposed on the dark web, leaving affected customers vulnerable to phishing.

“We wish to categorically deny any alleged association with, or any responsibility for the SBI breach,” Karix Mobile said in response to ETTelecom query.
