TN semiconductor ecosystem policy unveiled by CM Vijay aims to make state a hub

Chennai, Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay on Thursday unveiled Tamil Nadu’s Semiconductor Ecosystem Policy 2026 in a major push to position the state as India’s premier hub in the sector.

The initiative, taken forward by the Industries, Investment Promotion, and Commerce Department, is designed to attract massive investments into the state’s semiconductor sector and bolster cutting-edge electronic manufacturing, the government said.
