Cyient launches IES business unit, CYiNGINE intelligence platform to drive enterprise AI growth
Egineering services provider Cyient on Tuesday said it has formed a new integrated business unit, Intelligent Engineering Solutions (IES), and alongside launched its lifecycle engineering intelligence platform, CYiNGINE.
The new unit is designed to accelerate the company’s technology-led growth by combining governed industrial data, deep engineering domain knowledge, and business context across lifecycle engineering through a platform-led artificial intelligence operating model, according to a Cyient.
IES will deliver solutions across the entire engineering lifecycle, ranging from planning and design to operations, while managing enterprise client AI stacks across connectivity, mobility, aerospace, utilities, and telecom networks.
The unit introduces three reusable AI-enabled playbooks covering the engineering, service, and quality and regulatory lifecycles, supported by data engineering, analytics, and software development frameworks.
CYiNGINE combines governed industrial data with a modern AI and large language model stack, embedding AI into engineering workflows to improve design reuse, asset availability, and regulatory certification times.
The platform supports long-term outcome-based engagements, following a strategic operational progression from exploration and building to scaling and impact delivery across client KPIs.
“We are not pursuing AI for the sake of AI, we are pursuing tangible business outcomes for our customers,” said Sukamal Banerjee, executive director & chief executive officer at Cyient.
Banerjee added that rethinking how AI enters core engineering disciplines reflects Cyient’s commitment to investing in research and development, partnerships, and talent defining its next phase.
IES will be led by Harjott Atrii, chief business officer at Cyient, who helped shape the data, AI, and technology capabilities that now form the new business unit.
“Our customers do not buy AI. They buy outcomes. What we bring is hard to replicate: decades of engineering domain depth, governed industrial data, and the trust of customers who let us into their most critical workflows,” said Atrii.
Atrii added, “CYiNGINE brings that data, domain, and AI stack together into a single execution layer, and our three playbooks turn it into results our customers can measure — faster engineering cycles, higher asset availability, and faster regulatory clearance.”
