Airtel launches IQ Gateway to bring SMS, WhatsApp, RCS and voice on one enterprise platform

Airtel Business launched Airtel IQ Gateway, which it describes as India’s first business communications platform powered by telco-grade network intelligence, aimed at helping enterprises manage customer interactions across multiple channels while reducing fraud and delivery failures. The new platform brings together SMS, WhatsApp, Rich Communication Services (RCS), business voice communications and number verification capabilities on a single DPDP-compliant control plane. Airtel said the offering is designed to help enterprises simplify customer engagement while improving security and regulatory compliance.

According to Airtel Business, organisations often rely on multiple vendors and communication tools to reach customers, creating operational complexity and limited visibility into message delivery.
