Artificial intelligence is proving to be a dual engine for Accenture, driving customer demand while boosting internal productivity, CEO Julie Sweet announced during the company’s fourth-quarter earnings call. The Dublin-headquartered professional services giant reported that approximately 100 additional clients kicked off their first advanced AI projects in the fourth quarter. That pushed the total number of enterprise clients initiating advanced AI engagements with the firm past 400 for the fiscal year.
Sweet once again rejected concerns that automation might undermine the traditional IT services model, describing AI efficiencies as a structural advantage rather than a business threat.
