Vodafone Idea’s B2B arm partners with Cisco to enhance hybrid SD-WAN portfolio

Vi Business, the enterprise arm of Vodafone Idea (Vi), on Thursday said it has partnered with Cisco to enhance its hybrid SD-WAN portfolio with Cisco Meraki technology.

This move addresses the growing demand for secure, scalable, and intelligent networking as enterprises accelerate cloud adoption and distributed operations.

The solution provides diverse connectivity options, including leased lines, broadband, and cellular networks. Powered by Cisco Meraki, it offers a single dashboard for customers to manage their SD-WAN, featuring application- and performance-aware routing, security, and built-in Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity.

Backed by Vi Business’ nationwide connectivity, enterprises gain a fully managed hybrid SD-WAN service with a single point of contact, proactive monitoring, lifecycle management, and a unified service experience. Delivered through a service-based model, the solution eliminates upfront capital investments and enables businesses to scale their networking needs.

M P Sunil Kumar, chief enterprise business officer, Vodafone Idea, said, “Combined with our nationwide connectivity, cloud-managed networking capabilities, fully managed services, and end-to-end support, our collaboration with Cisco ensures our clients build resilient, scalable, and future-ready networks.”

Ashok Shivashankar, managing director (partner organisation), Cisco India & South Asia, said, “Together with Vi Business, we are helping enterprises modernise their networks with a managed hybrid SD-WAN solution that enables greater agility, scalability and operational efficiency while accelerating digital transformation.”
