Rs 11,000 cr Motherson plan anchors Tamil Nadu’s latest overseas investment drive; over 9000 jobs incoming
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay’s latest overseas investment push is centred on a familiar challenge for India’s industrial states: moving beyond conventional manufacturing and attracting capital into higher-value production, engineering and technology.
On Monday, during CM Vijay’s visit to the UK, the Tamil Nadu delegation signed multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) involving investments of around Rs 12,300 crore, according to Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam’s IT Wing.
