Amazon pauses operations with 21 Air after Miami cargo plane crash killed five

Amazon has paused its operations with 21 Air, the cargo airline that operated the Amazon Air flight involved in a deadly crash at Miami International Airport last weekend. The decision comes as investigators continue to examine why the Boeing 767-300 overran the runway while landing and struck vehicles on the ground. According to a Reuters report, Amazon said it made the decision after reviewing the circumstances around the accident and while continuing to support the investigation. Amazon spokesperson Kelly Nantel said the company had decided to pause operations with 21 Air, which operated Flight 7598 for Amazon Air.
