Infineon to buy India’s C2i Semiconductors to bolster power products portfolio

NEW DELHI: German Infineon Technologies said on Tuesday that it has acquired Bangalore-based C2i Semiconductors to bolster its power semiconductors portfolio.

The startup specialises in software-defined multiphase controllers and smart power stages for AI data center applications.

Infineon said in a joint statement that C2i’s technology complements its portfolio of power semiconductors and power systems, enabling intelligent and scalable power delivery architectures for AI servers and high-performance computing (HPC) platforms.
