Delhi tightens Red Fort security with AI cameras for Independence Day celebrations

Security arrangements at the Red Fort have been strengthened with a multi-layered anti-terror response plan and over 1,000 CCTV cameras with AI-based video analytics ahead of Independence Day celebrations, a senior police officer said on Friday Aug 14.

Security agencies have also carried out mock drills and advance liaison with various stakeholders to ensure better coordination during the celebrations.
