Tata Trusts begin process to select N Chandrasekaran’s successor as Tata Sons chairman

The Tata Trusts on Thursday initiated the process of selecting a successor to N Chandrasekaran as Chairman of Tata Sons, a day after he announced that he would not seek reappointment for a third term.

The Sir Dorabji Tata Trust (SDTT), which is part of the Tata Trusts that collectively hold nearly two-thirds of Tata Sons, said its trustees have passed a resolution to set up a selection committee to recommend a candidate for the top post.
