Tatas begin bid to find Chandrasekaran successor, selection committee to be formed soon

The trustees of the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust (SDTT), one of the two principal shareholders of Tata Sons, on Thursday passed a resolution to initiate the process of setting up a selection committee “as soon as possible” to find a successor to Natarajan Chandrasekaran.

Chandra, who helmed Tata Sons as its chairman for close to a decade, announced on Wednesday that he would not seek an extension after his term ends in February 2027.
