Gurugram’s Sanya Sharma debuts homegrown EquiSense AI wearable for equine health

NEW DELHI: Sanya Sharma, a 12th-grade Gurugram student, developed an indigenous wearable platform designed to help identify early signs of health concerns in horses.

The development would likely to address India’s growing dependency on imports for advanced equine monitoring technologies from European and other overseas markets.

Unlike conventional equine monitoring devices that typically measure a single health parameter, the Indian solution EquiSense AI uses a multi-sensor approach, capturing heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), body temperature, movement via an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), Electrodermal Activity (EDA/GSR) and environmental conditions.
