Apple restores Telegram on App Store after brief removal over child sexual abuse content

Apple has restored Telegram to its App Store after briefly removing the messaging platform worldwide over content that violated its policies on child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The app was reinstated the same day after Telegram removed the offending content and banned the user responsible.

Apple confirmed that Telegram was temporarily removed from the App Store after a review found content that breached its guidelines “prohibiting child sexual abuse material.”
