Bharti Airtel bets on financial services, data centres & cloud for next growth phase: Mittal

New Delhi: Following ₹3.3 lakh crore spending on digital infrastructure over the last 10 years, Bharti Airtel is prioritising financial services, data centres, and cloud for future growth, Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal stated in the telecom operator’s annual report for the fiscal year 2026.

Bharti Airtel announced a ₹20,000-crore investment into its NBFC Airtel Money, while data centre arm Nxtra recently secured $1 billion (roughly ₹9,500 crore) to scale toward 1 gigawatt capacity.
