IRCTC’s revamped portal to ensure faster bookings
The Ministry of Railways is set to launch the beta version of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) website soon.The IRCTC and the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) on Friday showcased the beta version of the revamped website to students of Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur, and sought additional feedback ahead of its public launch.
Notably, MNIT students had last month highlighted persistent issues with captcha verification and other performance-related shortcomings on the IRCTC website during Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw’s visit to Rajasthan.
