PM Modi unveils India-Japan future tech roadmap, AI emerges as key pillar of strategic partnership

PM Narendra Modi and Japanese PM Sanae Takaichi have unveiled a new roadmap to deepen the India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership, placing artificial intelligence (AI) at the centre of future cooperation.

During the 16th India-Japan Annual Summit in New Delhi, the two leaders oversaw the signing of several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) covering AI, defence, healthcare, energy, advanced manufacturing, and economic security.
