Nvidia billionaire Mark Stevens donates $175 million to build Silicon Valley’s first medical school in 100 years

Mark Stevens and his wife Mary Stevens have donated $175 million to establish a new medical school in partnership with Santa Clara University and Sutter Health. The institution, to be named the Mark & Mary Stevens School of Medicine, is expected to become Silicon Valley’s first new medical school in more than a century. The project aims to address California’s growing doctor shortage while combining medical education with emerging technologies such as AI and digital healthcare.
