Bharti Airtel shares gain over 2% after Q4FY26 results

Shares of Bharti Airtel rose more than 2% to hit an intraday high of ₹1,833 on the BSE on Thursday, despite the telecom major reporting a 34% year-on-year (YoY) decline in consolidated net profit at ₹7,325 crore for the March quarter.

The telecom major recorded quarterly revenue of ₹55,383 crore, reflecting a 16% YoY rise. Revenue growth during the quarter was supported by continued momentum in the India business and a strong performance from its Africa operations.
