Bharti Airtel ‘not satisfied’ with data center market share; eyes 1GW capacity: Gopal Vittal

NEW DELHI: A top executive at Bharti Airtel said the telecom carrier is aiming to establish a data center capacity of 1 gigawatt (GW), adding that the company is not satisfied with its present market share.

“We are a big player in the data center market, and we are only at about 10-12% share. For a company of our size, we are not satisfied with that kind of presence,” Gopal Vittal, executive vice chairman, Bharti Airtel, said during the company’s Q4FY26 post-earnings conference call with analysts.
