CoreWeave strikes AI cloud deal with Anthropic, shares rise

Cloud infrastructure firm CoreWeave said on Friday it has struck a deal with Anthropic to supply the AI startup with cloud computing capacity, sending its shares up more than 5% in premarket trading.

The multi-year agreement, whose financial terms were not disclosed, ‌will bring ⁠computing ⁠capacity for Anthropic online later this year and help it run workloads for its Claude family of AI models.

The partnership will ​initially focus on a phased infrastructure rollout, with the potential to expand in the future, the companies said.
