Social media platforms get notices over circulation of FSSAI documents in Delhi, probe on
NEW DELHI: Delhi Police has initiated a probe following allegations of unauthorised circulation of purported official documents related to the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on social media.
A senior police officer said that a complaint was received on March 12 at the IP Estate police station from an authorised representative of the FSSAI regarding the circulation of certain posts and purported official documents on social media. The complaint alleged involvement of certain influencers and unknown persons, possibly in connivance with insiders, to circulate such content to create distrust and harm the organisation’s reputation.
