Delhi Police arrest Maya IPTV operator after raids in Delhi, Haryana
Delhi Police have arrested an alleged reseller of Maya IPTV following raids at two locations in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, and Rajouri Garden, Delhi, on November 4.
The action followed a complaint by JioStar alleging unauthorised distribution of its copyrighted television channels and video-on-demand content through the Maya TV application.
An FIR was registered on May 29, 2026, at the Crime Branch police station in Delhi under provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, the Copyright Act, 1957, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
