Indian-American advocacy group opposes $103,265 H-1B visa fee, warns of US jobs moving overseas
The proposed USD 103,265 additional fee for H-1B work visas could make legitimate hiring economically impractical and push high-value US jobs overseas, the Foundation for India and Indian Diaspora Studies (FIIDS) said on Wednesday.
The Indian-American advocacy group raised concerns over the proposed fee, saying it could particularly hurt cash-strapped startups and companies that rely heavily on H-1B workers.
