Govt orders Ola, Uber, Rapido, InDrive to remove advance tipping features

In a major relief for millions of daily commuters, the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has directed Ola, Uber, Rapido, and InDrive—to remove “advance tipping” and “add-on” features from their mobile applications that suggest passengers can improve their chances of getting a cab by paying extra before a trip begins.
