Foundries, sector-specific OSATs to boost domestic semiconductor industry: Cyient

NEW DELHI: Chip foundries and sector-specific outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) units in India will further strengthen the Indian industry, said a top executive of Cyient.

“I think a strong ecosystem is needed, both in terms of the ecosystem. India needs a good foundry and sector-specific OSATs, which have not yet been established here,” PNSV Narasimham, president & head of corporate functions at Cyient, told ETTelecom in an interview.
