Vi adds net subscribers for the second consecutive month: TRAI

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has reported net subscriber additions for the second consecutive month, according to the latest data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). With 21,927 net subscribers added in February, the company seems to be witnessing stabilisation of its subscriber base after adding 1,02,899 subscribers in March 2026. These positive developments come amid overall growth in the telecommunications industry in India, where total telephone subscriptions stood at 1,330.58 million in March, with a monthly growth rate of 0.70%.

As per the report, Vodafone Idea’s subscriber base increased by 1,92,211 net subscribers in the month under review, driven by the rural segment.
