Meta is restructuring its internal AI strategy as it races to keep pace with other AI companies. According to an internal memo viewed by The Wall Street Journal, chief technology officer Andrew Bosworth has been asked to take over direct supervision of the company’s efforts to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) across its entire workforce.

The report said that Bosworth, a long-time executive known within the company as “Boz,” will now lead the “AI For Work” initiative. He takes the reins from Guy Rosen, another top executive, in a move designed to make the social media giant more “nimble” and efficient.
