AWS eyeing 2-3 gigawatts India capacity on tax sops sweetener

Cloud service provider Amazon Web Services (AWS) is ramping up its data centre capacity in India, with expansion plans across Mumbai and Hyderabad. The US-headquartered company has signed letters of intent with six-eight colocation providers, including Sify Technologies, Yotta Data Services, NTT Data, CtrlS and CapitaLand, said people familiar with the development.
