NEW DELHI: India’s ambition to lead in 6G will depend not just on rapid deployment but on building intellectual property, strengthening participation in global standards, and developing a robust innovation ecosystem, industry executives said on Friday. They emphasised that while India has achieved scale in 5G, critical gaps remain in research, collaboration, and product development that must be addressed to shape next-generation telecom technologies.
