Jensen Huang has a message for the AI industry’s most vocal pessimists: you’re doing more damage than you think. Speaking at Nvidia’s GTC Conference in California—and in a separate appearance on the No Priors podcast—the Nvidia CEO made his sharpest case yet against what he calls doomer rhetoric. His argument isn’t that AI is risk-free. It’s that scaring people away from the technology is itself the risk.

“Warning is good, scaring is less good, because this technology is too important to us,” Huang said during a panel discussion at GTC, responding to a question about how Anthropic could have better handled its now-public contract standoff with the Pentagon.
