GAIL inks pact with RailTel to explore telecom business opportunities
NEW DELHI: GAIL (India) Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with RailTel Corporation to explore business opportunities in the telecom sector.
“GAIL (India) Limited entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RailTel Corporation of India Limited on 05.03.2026 to collaborate in the key sectors of the digital infrastructure in the country,” GAIL said in a regulatory filing on Monday.
The strategic pact between the public sector firm seeks to reinforce India’s communication framework, improve utilisation of resources, and drive forward the nation’s digital connectivity initiatives at a rapid pace.
