Custom GPUs, 6-gigawatt power and more: AMD and Facebook-parent Meta sign long-term AI chip deal
Facebook-parent Meta has signed a deal with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) for use of its AI chips in its data centres. The deal involves deploying up to 6 gigawatts of AI computing power to the social media giant’s next generation of AI infrastructure across multiple generations of AMD Instinct GPUs.
