Karix moves court against NICSI, OneXtel for ₹330-375 crore messaging tender

Enterprise communications firm Karix Mobile has moved the Delhi High Court against the government’s National Informatics Centre Services Inc (NICSI) and its competitor OneXtel Ltd, challenging the empanelment of OneXtel under a messaging services tender estimated to be worth ₹330-375 crore.

In its petition, Karix has alleged that OneXtel secured empanelment by submitting an invalid CMMI Level 5 certification, which was a mandatory eligibility requirement under the tender. Karix has contended that acceptance of the allegedly invalid certification vitiates the procurement process and undermines the integrity of the bidding framework.
