Tata Communications’ CFO Kabir Shakir resigns
Tata Communications is preparing for a change at the top of its finance function, with Chief Financial Officer Kabir Ahmed Shakir tendering his resignation after more than five years at the company — a period marked by balance-sheet repair, strategic repositioning and a push to turn the firm into a global digital communications player.
In a regulatory filing on Monday, the Tata Group company said Shakir will step down from his role on a date that will be mutually agreed and announced later. The company has begun the process of identifying a successor and said it will ensure a smooth transition.
