Google Chrome to drop macOS Monterey support by July 2026

Google has announced that its Chrome browser will officially end support for macOS 12 Monterey starting July 2026. The company has announced that users running Monterey will no longer receive browser updates which includes security patches, feature improvements or compatibility fixes. Google’s decision to end the support aligns with company’s broader policy of phasing out older operating systems once Apple itself stops offering mainstream updates.
