Meta, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Netflix hire 32,000 in India in 2025 amid H-1B curbs: Report
NEW DELHI: US Big Tech majors’ headcount in India increased by 18 year-on-year to nearly 2.14 lakh in 2025 – the highest in the last three years – amid the imposition of the new H-1B visa curbs by the Donald Trump administration, according to a report by Moneycontrol.
The publication, while citing data from specialist staffing firm Xpheno, reported that Facebook (Meta), Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Netflix, and Google (Alphabet) cumulatively hired more than 32,000 new employees in India in 2025.
