Japan’s ROHM partners with Tata Electronics to test, assemble chips in India

NEW DELHI: Japanese ROHM has partnered with Tata Electronics to manufacture semiconductors in India for the domestic and international markets.

As part of a manufacturing framework centred on power chips, Tata Electronics will assemble and test ROHM’s India-designed automotive-grade Nch 100V, 300A Si MOSFET in a TOLL package, targeting mass production shipments by next year, according to a joint statement on Monday.
