Telcos are largely compliant to new service quality norms: Trai chief

NEW DELHI: Telecom carriers — Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea — are largely complying with the latest quality of service or QoS norms, with the tightening of framework as per the glide path, a top regulatory official said.

“Telecom service providers are largely complying with the norms, and we are going on tightening them as per our glide path,” Anil K Lahoti, chairman, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai), told ETTelecom.
